With its central location in the heart of Europe, Cologne can be accessed many different ways. Numerous flights operate to or from North America on a daily basis. You can transit via Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Brussels or Amsterdam - Cologne is less than an hour away. High speed trains and short flights make for an easy connection to Cologne. One of the most convenient ways is flying into Frankfurt Airport and then taking a connecting train to the Cologne fairgrounds - you will arrive in Cologne in less than an hour.

Arrival in Cologne
If you choose to fly into the Cologne/Bonn Airport via other transit points you will find convenient bus service to the fairground. While trade shows are taking place in Cologne, Airport Shuttles are free of charge. Bus number 170 runs every 15 minutes and stops at Cologne-Deutz railway station. Buses run between 8:05 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. as well as 3:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

  • By Rail
    Traveling by rail in Europe is quick, efficient and affordable. Germany's Deutsche Bahn passenger railway offers punctual and comfortable service to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), and the Koeln Deutz Train station which is located across the fairground.

  • By Automobile
    Ten highways lead to Cologne. Roads to the fairground are well marked. Look for "Green Traffic Road Signs" pointing to Koelnmesse on surrounding highways as well as the inner City of Cologne. The fairground provides 14,500 parking spaces. From there, free shuttle buses take you to the entrances.
